Rockstar releases the GTA VI Launch Trailer, with Justice as score composers

Rockstar released the GTA VI Launch Trailer, set to the new Justice song Flower in a Hurricane, and named Justice as the game's original score composers.

Rockstar released the Grand Theft Auto VI Launch Trailer on October 15, five weeks before the game's November 19 release. It debuts "Flower in a Hurricane," a new song by Justice featuring Tame Impala, SZA and King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard, and Rockstar's trailer page credits Justice as the game's "original score composers."

What it means for players

The trailer does not change any dates. GTA VI still launches on November 19, 2026, for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, and pre-orders remain open; our editions guide covers what each version includes.

The bigger confirmation is musical. Rockstar now says the electronic duo Justice wrote the game's original score. NME also reports the score credit as coming from Rockstar.

The trailer

The video runs about a minute and a half, and Rockstar put it out with no teaser or advance notice, Kotaku noted. According to Kotaku, much of it is about Jason's past and what pulls him toward crime, cut together with shootouts and driving, and it includes an intimate scene between Jason and Lucia. With launch this close, we are leaving the story beats out of this post.

On Rockstar's site the Launch Trailer is the newest of four official videos. The others are An Extended Look from August 27, 2026, Trailer 2 from May 6, 2025, and Trailer 1 from December 4, 2023. The page also carries the game's ESRB rating, Mature, and a "Plays best on PlayStation 5" badge.

Rockstar's trailer page does not say what hardware the footage was captured on, and we found no Rockstar statement about it, so this post does not state one either way.

The music

"Flower in a Hurricane" is one of the tracks on Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album, which is the official soundtrack release, Gematsu reports. Physical copies on CD or vinyl are up for pre-order, and streaming listeners can pre-save it now.

NME describes the album as 34 tracks of original music written for the game. Only some of the tracklist has been made public so far, so the full list of artists is not yet known.

Background

Rockstar has spaced its GTA VI videos widely. Trailer 1 arrived in December 2023, Trailer 2 followed in May 2025, and the long-form Extended Look came out in August this year. You can see where each one falls on our timeline, and the launch FAQ collects the rest of what Rockstar has confirmed ahead of release day.
