Rockstar reveals six GTA VI radio stations, including a returning Flash FM

Rockstar named six GTA VI radio stations, brought back Flash FM, and confirmed on-demand podcasts you can hear on foot through in-game earbuds.

Rockstar revealed the first six radio stations for Grand Theft Auto VI on October 8 in a Rockstar Newswire post, with a preview of each station on the music page of the official GTA VI site.

For players, the bigger change may be how you listen. As Push Square relays Rockstar's post, radio and a new set of on-demand podcasts work in vehicles and on foot, "through newly introduced headphones and earbuds connected to their smartphones." Podcasts are a first for the series.

The six stations so far:

  • Cocoteo FM: Latin music, including reggaeton, dembow, bachata and merengue, hosted by El Martillo and La Gata
  • Back Country Radio: country with an outlaw streak, hosted by MW and Delta Dawne
  • AfroBank FM: African music old and new, amapiano among it, hosted by Burna and Palmsy
  • The Chamber 106.6: classic metal from the 1980s onward, hosted by DJ Kerry and DJ Tom
  • Flash FM: pop, hosted by Robyn and Alex
  • Dirty South Classics: older rap and hip-hop with a regional focus, hosted by Trick and Trina

Flash FM is a familiar name. GTA Boom points out that the pop station was a staple of Grand Theft Auto: Vice City in 2002.

Rockstar describes the game's radio as its "biggest and widest-ranging selection of in-game radio yet," per Push Square, and Pure Xbox reports that more stations will be shared soon. Rockstar has not said how many there will be in total.

Host names are from Rockstar's music page, which does not say who voices them. A companion record, Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album, was announced in September.

GTA VI launches on November 19, 2026, for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. The launch FAQ covers the rest of what is confirmed.
